What this trip covers
Spend six nights moving between Taiwan’s cities, with Taipei as your base for day trips and a night in Kaohsiung between rail journeys. In Taipei, visit Shifen and Jiufen, ride the Maokong Gondola and explore Wulai. Travel by high-speed rail to Tainan for Anping’s historic sites, then continue to Kaohsiung for lakeside and cultural stops before returning to Taipei.
